Our Story

GLRC was founded in January 2008 by Benjamin K. Dankaka, inspired by his passion for literacy and youth leadership development. What started as a simple vision to promote reading culture has grown into a comprehensive movement reaching thousands of students across Nigeria.

Our journey began with the Read and Lead Campaign, hosting six-month reading workshops in local high schools. The initiative quickly gained recognition, reaching over 200 students and receiving coverage in newspapers, radio, and television.

Over the years, we have expanded our reach and impact, collaborating with schools, government agencies, and international organizations to promote quality education and leadership excellence.
